Some of these opportunities were at Tourism WA in their Corporate Communications sector, NRC Communications and a digital communications agency, Precedent. I'm always looking for more work experience opportunities- which is why being a member of the PRSC is so helpful! Career Goal: Through-out my career I plan to master a broad range of skills in Public Relations and continue learning during my entire professional career! |

Erin HoeyPRSC General Committee Member Contact: Degree: Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in PR and Marketing Relevant Work Experience: In 2010 I completed a 10 week internship for the marketing and PR department for Guide Dogs WA. Stand out moments included the filming of a corporate DVD working with the Chair of the Foundation Board, as well as assisting photographers and liaising with clients. I played an instrumental role in the concept development of the Associations most important events of the year – the naming of their state of the art building for Stan Perron. Not so glamorous but equally as fun was taking the PR Guide Dogs out for their daily walk Area of PR I am interested to work in: I am becoming increasingly interested in the areas of new social media. |
